About us

The Rotary Club of Bellville is one of the oldest clubs in the district, having been chartered in 1954. It has a proud history of service to the community, with projects serving every area of need in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

‘To be of service to others’ – is the commitment shown by our members in the Bellville community where we are all volunteers to assist those less fortunate than ourselves.

We connect with other professionals, we share our time and experiences with Youth, we support Global causes and we use our skills to help others.

Known as the ‘Fellowship Club’, it is a vibrant club, with an active membership, great fellowship, and a variety of activities in every area that make it a successful club. Our members come from all walks of life, and enjoy the varied activities that go into making the Rotary Club of Bellville what is!

To encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to foster and encourage: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.

High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society.

The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal business and community life.

The advancement of International understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
